NCQA Accreditation for CIGNA PPO

CIGNA Healthcare, APWU Health Plan's PPO network in forty states, has earned the National Committee for Quality Assurance's (NCQA) full accreditation, the highest quality rating for PPOs. APWU Health Plan sets high standards for PPOs to be part of its network, and CIGNA'a full accreditation from NCQA supports the Health Plan's commitment to healthcare quality for its members.

NCQA is a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving health care quality. PPOs that meet NCQA's standards for quality must pass a rigorous, comprehensive review and must report annually on their performance. Accreditation from NCQA is a stamp of approval from an organization that has been a key figure in driving healthcare quality improvement in the United States.
