Google has announced that Google Health will be discontinued as a service after January 1, 2012.  After this date you will  no longer be able to view, enter or edit data stored in Google Health. The Health Plan began looking at options to replace Google Health and to give our members the best offering to manage their health information. We have chosen Microsoft HealthVault.

What is HealthVault?
Microsoft® HealthVault® is a free privacy and security enhanced online service that puts the member in control of their health information. HealthVault lets our members store their health information from many sources such as providers, health plans, pharmacies and labs, in a single location, so that it’s always organized and available to them online. With HealthVault, members can access a range of health and fitness web tools, upload data from health and fitness devices, and share health information with their physicians and others they trust.

APWU Health Plan’s connection with HealthVault will be available starting December 9th, 2011.
