Due to the recent snowstorm affecting 16 states and the District of Columbia, Express Scripts and Optum have temporarily relaxed certain requirements and taken additional steps to help ensure members continue to receive their medications without interruption.
If a member is unable to receive their prescription by mail, both Express Scripts and Optum can transfer the prescription to a local retail pharmacy for dispensing.

Both pharmacies can assist local pharmacists with processing prescriptions if needed.
Doctor calls and drug utilization review (DUR) calls will continue, and every effort will be made to complete these reviews and fill prescriptions as required.
