Express Scripts Medicare (PDP) for the High Option
As a retired High Option member not enrolled in Medicare Advantage (Part C), you will be enrolled in Express Scripts Medicare® (PDP) for APWU Health Plan. High Option retirees receive Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage at no extra cost through Express Scripts Medicare (PDP) for APWU Health Plan.
Your benefits under this PDP will never be less than your coverage under the PSHB High Option. If you opt out of—or disenroll from—Express Scripts Medicare (PDP), you will not have prescription drug coverage.
- If you opt out of—or disenroll from—our PDP, your premium will not be reduced, and you may have to wait to re-enroll during Open Season or for a QLE. If you do not maintain creditable coverage, you may have to pay a late re-enrollment penalty.
