Medicare Advantage is a Medicare-approved plan from a private company that offers an alternative to Original Medicare. Plans provide Part A (hospital insurance) coverage, Part B (medical insurance) coverage, and usually include Part D (prescription drug) coverage.
Also known as Medicare Part C, Medicare Advantage plans may offer extra coverage for vision, hearing, dental, and/or health and wellness programs.
