The guidelines offer theory-based, evidence-driven guidance for preventive care screenings and well-child visits.
Preventive medications
Your plan also covers preventive medications that promote better health, as recommended by the Affordable Care Act. If your doctor or health care professional prescribes a preventive medication, and you fill the prescription at a network pharmacy, you’ll have no additional costs. Preventive medications include some over-the-counter vitamins, nicotine replacement medications, and low-dose aspirin.
